AHM5087-D B&O Class P-6 4-6-2 Heavy Pacific Locomotive #5238

The Pacific was B&O's ultimate passenger locomotive. All of the B&O's 4-6-2s are remembered for their good looks thanks to a clean, semi-streamlined look and symmetrical appearance. Predecessors to the more famous P-7 President Series, the B&O received 15 P-6s from Baldwin in 1922. They had a USRA appearance modified with a cast trailing truck.
