"This model is a modified replica of switchers used by the Southern Pacific Lines and in service for over 40 years. This prototype was built by the Baldwin Locomotive works during the years 1906-1911 and given the the designation Class 1100 by the Southern Pacific Lines."

Built for a very few years in the mid-1980's the 0-6-0 "Long Boiler" kits are the rarest and most desirable of all Roundhouse Switcher kits.
