If you've spent any time on my website, and actually read my product descriptions, you may have come across me rambling about why fictitious road numbers exist on many vintage locos. This stunning IHC M9862 is yet another example. Specifically, the (2) actual P-14 Class 4-6-2s (#650-652) were former SP P-6s rebuilt and fully streamlined in 1937 for the Sunbeam and the Hustler named trains. Road #4365 IS an actual SP number but it belonged to a non-streamlined 4-8-2. Anyway, this MRRHQ upgraded IHC M9862 SP "Sunbeam" Semi-Streamlined 4-6-2 Pacific Locomotive #4365 remains one of the most beautiful model railroad locomotives ever produced fictitious Road# and all.
