IHC Premier M9892 CRI&P Class P-40 4-6-2 Pacific Locomotive #974

Brooks built the final and largest 30 Pacifics for the CRI&P in 1913, class P-40, numbers 950-979. Like the previous group they had 73" drivers and 25" x 28" cylinders, but their fireboxes were 40 percent larger. The engines weighed 282,500 pounds and developed a tractive effort of 39,755 pounds.
