K-Line K6810 RBB&B Crane Car

There is no doubt that we circus modelers owe a great deal to K-Line both before and after their "merger" with Lionel in 2007. They were, as near as we can tell, the first to offer licensed RBB&B ready-to-run O Scale rolling stock in 1991 and their innovation in extruded aluminum coach bodies resulted in some of the finest model railroad products ever offered. Period. RBB&B licensing, however, doesn't come cheap and, again, as near as we can tell, K-Line stopped producing RBB&B products, and paying license fees, at the end of 1993.

Much of the K-Line circus rolling stock continued to be produced under the K-Line by Lionel banner after 2007. The superb K-Line 18" extruded aluminum coaches, 13.5" plastic body coaches, rugged box cars and other unique circus offerings, like this unusual MRCHQ Collectible O Scale K-Line K6810 RBB&B Crane Car, were even re-released with minor revisions and rebranded under Lionel's RBB&B license.
