"Roundhouse has recreated in HO Scale, the original wagon-top style consolidation of the early 1900's. This style is an out-growth of the original smaller consolidation locomotive, with a much larger configuration and wheel diameter capable of handling long strings of freight cars.

The model consolidation is especially adept handling both freight and passenger trains of 20-30 cars depending on make and weight. The model was designed to operate on 18" curves. The special 4-1 gearing makes this kit an outstanding engine for all of your freight or main line chores."
