This MRRHQ Collectible HO Scale Tyco 7712 1880 4-8-0 Unlettered "Mastodon" Twelve Wheeler Locomotive Kit is a magnificent example of the "Iron Horse", the locomotive that spanned the plains and did so much to open the West. Its' ornate and colorful decoration, with gleaming brass parts, earned for it the title of the "Belle of the Plains".

These rare and spectacular Tyco 7712 kits were offered FOR ONLY TWO YEARS, in 1976 and 1977, and are very hard to find as a result. Nearly 50 years later, they are even harder to find especially in this stunning mint condition.
